Headin down tomorrow... what baits?

Hey what's up guys. I've been hearing some real good things about this place so I figured I'd try it out. I'm taking my dad up there for his birthday tomorrow cause he doesn't get to go much anymore. Actually he only goes fishing probably 2 times a year. But anyway I heard this place is like CP1 used to be years ago - you catch alot of quality fish.

But anyway I was wondering what baits have been working good up there? I'm planning on taking some 'bellies, gills, and warmouths, but I only have maybe 5 of each. Someone told me they did good on goldfish and islraeli's also. I couldn't catch any fresh shad so I gotta go tomorrow and pick some frozen shad and skipjack up.

What I also would like to know is if they have a decent bait selection up there and decent prices. I hate going to places like CP1 cause it's $1 per goldfish($.50 size) and you have to buy 12 at a time (depending on who is working on that day.) But if they carry shad, skipjack, and goldies, I won't waste my time going to the bait shop.

Well, thanks for the help, I'll be leaving prolly around 8 tomorrow morning, and hopefully I'll have some pics to post up... Possibly something to top Randy's!!! Lol, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

They sell skipjack there, chubs,gold,shad,bluegills, price are cheap as well. You can buy 1 at a time if you want. They will also tell you where to fish and show you the spots, They want you to catch there fish. Good luck bud. Lots of big fish there, I been there 5 out of last 6 weeks.

there goldies are .50 each same with ic's. leeches work too not sure how much but im sure they got them..u got the rest covered
