yeah they work great, ive got mine full of waremouths and goldies and a couple izzies right now. Randy you shouldnt have any problems at all keeping bait alive. The tanks are good and your air pump looks good as well, like i said before my pumps went bad so i just use my inverter and aquar. airpumps in it now it works well like that as well.

with that tank you should be able to keep shad alive for atleast a week . i use a 35 gallon drum in my truck i can keep shad alive for over a week even in this heat i have had 50 shad alive for the last 4 days, i have only had 5 die in the last four days and my truck is black which attracts heat. key is dont overgrowd them figure out how much your tank can hold my 35 can hold about 60 without overgrowding them when you put to many in they get overgrowded and die. in heat like this i drain half the water out at dark and put fresh in add a cup of water softener salt and tblspoon of coffee creamer and your good to go. with the pumps i use i can let it run off my cig lighter for 2 days and it does'nt drain my batterie i use the double air stone power bubbles pump from bass pro they draw less than a 1/4 amp

Kept shad alive in this tank all weekend and they were in as good a shape as when I caught them if not better........not even a hint of red nose when I emptied the tank Sunday evening.

great, glad it is working out for you, i hate to spend good $$$$ on something and it dont work for what i bought it for, but they are really great tanks, i still got about 40 waremouths and about 2 lbs. of goldies in mine just sitting in the floor of the garage and ive only lost 7 waremouth so far in almost 2 wks. i just feed them everyday with waxworms and glodfish flakes.
