Well last time I was there it was miserable. Thunderstorms all day and tornado warnings. But despite all that, there was still some being caught, and I didn't see a single fish under 20#. So me and a buddy are making a trip out there next week. The weather channel says it's supposed to be raining all week except for Tuesday so that's when we'll be heading down.
If you guys know anywhere we should try, baits, depths, please let me know. We have about a 2 hour drive so I'd like to come well prepared and have some type of game plan on how to fish it. Hopefully I will have my shad tank done so we can take some live shad. And I'll be getting some gills, warmouth, bellies, etc. Along with some mud leeches and nightcrawlers.
Also, anyone who wants to meet us down there let me know! Just send me a PM. We'll probably be down there Tuesday around midday and fish all night. Depending on how we do and what the weather looks like we may even stay Wednesday. I don't know yet. But if you want to fish with us, maybe school us a little bit on how to fish the lake, lol, shoot me a PM and we'll work something out. Thanks.

I drove 4 hrs lol but im not one of these guys that will say "that lake sucks" . I know it is a good place just a bad stint in the weather lol. I drove home and fished a lake 30 minutes from the house and hit a 46lbs blue in the first hour i was there !!lol go figure
