Well my friend, my little sister, and myself went to CP2 for the first time this past Thursday. We got there at midnight (after driving around for about 2 hours, got lost a few times...lol) Tons of people fishing. We were not sure where to fish, and finally just chose the only open spot we found which was up on the top lake.
Through out my first line while still unloading the car, 5 minutes later fish on. About 20 minutes after that my sister caught her first flathead ever, so so on it went. We ended up catching 6 fish, missed about 4.
Overall pretty good experience. Lake was pretty clean, fish looked good, and most people were pretty nice.
No monstor fish, but hopefully next time. Plan to go back next week hopefully, if I can ever get off work.
