We ran my nets this morning, and caught this monster. This is the biggest shovelhead I ever caught in the Ohio River. He's in the new lake now boys.

Oh YEAH, you know how many times I looked under my truck to see what all the noise was. You, Chuck, and Adam are in trouble. Who knew a little zip tie could make such a racket. When you least expect it, gonna getcha.

nice shovel rob...quick question, when you pull up your nets do you throw all the dinks back and just keep the hogs??

I throw back all the channels, and everything under 15 lbs. I usually only keep 20 lbs and bigger, but have put the 15's and a few smaller in the new lake. Next year I'll only keep 25lbs & up, because I'm not selling any fish any more and don't need any small ones. I throw back more than 1000 lbs a week of small shovelhead. Can you imagine what me keeping those would do to the future population. If everyone would do that then more commercial fisherman could catch fish like I do. Well probly not, but would still be a lot better fishing for everyone.
