I have been there every weekend, The bite has been hit and miss, mostly miss for me, LOL. They are still putting high 40's and low 50's on the board for big fish of the week. My buddy hit a 49 blue and lost out to a 50.1 last week for big fish of the week. The best part about fishing this lake is, when you pay $14 for your 2 pole ticket you are already in for big fish of the week, which normaly pays out 200+ for first and 100+ for second. You cant beat that.

yeah, i had good luck earlier, but havnt been in a little bit. I just recently got a payed ticket to catman blues for my 18th birthday present. im lookin forward to go here soon.

yea, the open thurs at 3 and close on sunday im not sure what time, at least im pretty sure unless they opened all night every night, but pretty sure just weekend.

The hours are thurs 3:00 PM to Sunday 6:00 PM. I was there Friday night, I got there at 11:00 PM , the spots I normaly fish were taken. So I planed on fishing up front by the bait house until my spot was open. I hit 5 fish 3 25 pound shovels, 20 pound shovel and an 18 pound blue and missed 3. I never moved the bite was too good. Packed it up at 7:00 am due to my sons birthday party. The lake was on fire a lot of fish were being caught. When I left there was a 42.8, 42.4, and 40.1 leading for the fish of the week.

Bluecatblues I will be there to fish in the heat on Sunday. To support my 4 kids and my fishing habit I will be working 2 extra shifts at my second job on Friday and Saturday night. I will be there Sunday morning. I am due to bust a big one.

Hit the lake sunday morning for about 6 hours. I hit 2 25's and a 33, the guys I was with hit a 25 and an 18, missed 2. The people fishing to the left of me hit 10 while I was there. The bite stopped right around 10:30, I believe because of the heat. I really belive that big blue and shovels truly hate yellow bellies, I mean when they hit them the really crush them.

lol sounds like a good time , yes the heat is gonna be gettin worse , i think my paylakin is done till september or so, my buddy i fish with just got some messed up hours and i driink and drive so i dont have a license (><), im pretty much stuck with fishin close by , and i wont waste my money on any of these paylakes near me
