thats good, I am gonna go check it out maybe this week, it is just a mile or so from where I work and not far from where I live, it would be nice to have a lake that close to just fish a few hours through the week, ill post a report when I go

if anyone still likes fishn chetac you better get it in now, shad are taking it over big time!! the few fish that are still in there are well fed but they still bight ok, i give that lake 2 more years tops and it will be done. its a shame been fishn there along time. i wish he would save up for one more load of fish!!

you knock on the white houses door and hand the guy who opens the door 10$ and he will let you fish as long as you want and as for the fish that wre in the big lake most of them were put in the small lake. and everytime i go i catch them. use chubs and bluegill.

yeah there are some fish in there but not like it use to be, there was some real nice fish in there but i think that it has filled in to much now and all the big fish that was in there died out or got barried under the mud and stuff that filled it in. use to fish there a few time back when it was a paylake..

Is Chetac opening up this year, or is it going to be the same as before, stop by pay and fish?

Went to lake Chetac yesterday the 18th. Unfortunately we caught zero fish. Only one run on the day between 5 of us. There were a few other fisherman at the lake and didn't see anyone else hook into anything either. On the plus side had a few beers and it was a really nice day!

I guess they are kinda suedo open. You can go up to the door of the little house there and knock. If they are home it's 10 bucks a piece and they will let ya fish.

Oh also even though I didn't catch anything yesterday last year I caught quite a few.

i used to do realy good there on leeches i got 3 40+in one ticket there a few years ago and a 62 the same day

d**n thats pretty nice! I have never done as well as you there but yesterday was about the first time I walked out of there with a big fat zero as the count! Oh well ya can't win them all!
