yeah bring your own bait, but you can sit right there in the corner and catch little waremouths all day long, my boys tear them up when we go out there, hell its almost worth just paying the 10 buck to catch all the waremouth and you can catfish while you do. LOL

a friend of mine said he went down by there the other day and someone was fishing and it looked clean but the gates were closed and it looked like the lake was closed, where do you go to pay? I would like to go down there sometime, I have heard some horror stories bout the way it used to be, like dudes paylaking each other and fighting and stuff which I don't want any part of

The house to the left of the gate, is the owner. Just go and pay them. I talked to him for about 10 minutes. I also thought it was closed. He said he doesn't advertise the lake or anything. They bought the lake from the other owners and he has cleaned it up a lot. Its a nice setup, just no bait, no jackpots or anything like that. From what I have been told, he still has a lot of nice fish in there in the 40 # range.
