Live in the west chester area and looking for a yellow belly hotspot for bait but also a place to take the kids and give them a good time and a nice little fight to perk their interests...

I have a few here in KY but it is a good drive to get two. They are on fire evrytime I go. I have been bringing back twice as many as I need and transplanting them into a pound behind my house so I dont have to drive as far. I figure it will take about 2 years for them to mass populate the lake.

Appreciate the info...might go try out that Clark Lake. On the other forums read, I saw they were catching yellow bellies at stonelick lake but never did any good there. Plenty of bluegill, but no bullheads.

I get mine out of the pond next to where I work, probably 300 hundred in there or so. Its private property though. I am trying to find a new source for them as well, since I dont want to deplete them too much. I also have not had much luck at stonelick. I catch them, but nowhere near enough or consistent enough for bait.

ive got a church around the corner from where i live in milford, but my favorite holes are at stonelick lake, anywhere towards the campground but not in the campgrounds, using chickenlivers, about 10 feet off the bank 2 or 4 feet deep. if water over 80 degrees go 4 deep or bottom and fish about 30 feet off bank.everytime i catch 3 dozen in a hour using 2 poles
OFF TOPIC p.s. also great spots for trout in the winter using minnows or a popeye and wax worm.
