wandering if anyone has ever used waterdogs for flathead fishin, use to be able to get them at Ryans wholesale bait in Troy , but never got any to use

man me and my uncle uses them and let me tell you what you dont turn your back on a water dog cause that float will be gone

catman blue last year and then ole super k i dont no what it is about them but they work wonders but hard to get but we gotta a place

no we know this lake we throw dog food on top and bunch come up then hit them with are throw net

well they look like a brown salamander w/ a flat head and fluffy gills coming out both sides of their head, they're the larval stage of a tiger salamander i think

glomis1983 is correct...look like little snakes as the legs are not fully developed yet (I think).

water dogs are super nice as pets too I have 5 of them as my son refuse to let me sell them when we got them in last year, hard to get so if Rynn's has them I say they are limited. like gloomis says they look like baby dragons with feathery flowing gills around the neck as they mature they drop off to the look of a lizard / salmander still good at this level too as they still handle water and mine love to play or sit in water, should see them feed too lol dangle a N/C and they leap for it. as for bait, did sell one, he said never a bite and wish he kept it for a pet. We sold white mice too but most we found does not go for the uqniue bait to carry it. Good luck with them if u try them. The FISH LADY
