Well i think its about time to hang up the rods and reels here in about 2 wks. for me anyway.. bow season is right around the corner, got to get things ready, buy a few items that i will need so that means got to use fishing money for that stuff. LOL

i hear ya.....goal this year is to shoot a deer, buck or doe, with a longbow. Starting to get consistent at 15 yards..still need more practice, but should be ready by 9/27.

yeah i just got in my bolts for my 2 crossbows today, so i think im just about ready and got to get the boys in class in 3 wks. to get there test over with so they can get out and hunt with me.... got to get a few other things yet but i think we will be ready by then.. got the first wk. off (vacation) so hopefully i can get my tags filled and then worry about them getting out.. (boys)

sounds like you have the best hunting buddies - your kids - enjoy - first week off - awesome - good luck - my daughter went with me last year for the first time - she has a buck hanging on her bedroom wall - hopefully she will go this year.

not sure about that,, LOL its a pretty good toss up up. but i love to do both.. my wife told me today that she cant wait till it comes in she's tire of here me talk about hunting, but she say's the same thing about fishing.. LOL

my wife is the same she does hunt and fish but i reall get excited when its time to hunt i go nuts getting all my stuff done got alot of work to get done before it comes in

yeah going down next wk.end to get stands up and what not, gotta get the cane in the wholes and get the fall plots going, dont have to till just through the seed down and let it grow.

i got my stands up yesterday my fatherinlaw has been seeing a monster said it wouls score around 170s i cant wait to get out there its just a drive to brown county
