Fishing ohio??

Just curious here.. Me and a buddy have been wanting to go out on the river and so some catfishing.. Wondering if anyone heading out to the ohio river would be willing to take us along for some fishing. I dont have a boat, and would love to find some of these big river cats. Let me know.. I understand if there is no response, just thought id try. I may beh eading out this friday to try and find some bank fishing spots around the cincy area.. any ideas for some good bank spots for BIG cats? and are you allowed to have fires on the bank??

you can bank fish from the public landing behind us bank arena by the serpentine wall .
