does anybody do any good with big shad dead or alive? like the 8''-12'' because i usually only do any good with 3-6 inchers probably just the common size in most lakes

I have done well with Big shad, I fish them on the bottom.

I do awsome with them in the river, and decent in the paylakes it also depends where your at too.

i get alot of shad down in addyston at catalina marina both sides of 50 and you can get alot down at the wall at public landing!

i have done good on big shad heads,i dont mess with them live,espically the ones jon gave me they were 15 to 18 inches,bennie knows what im talkin about ;D

wow does he ever catch fish with those monster shad i have caught fish on those big shad... but there hard to use they will tangle you to hell and there is no way to keep them down they will swim a 2oz. weight to the surface with no problem. the only way to fish them is on the bottom really.

YA TRUE THATS WHY I JUST USE THERE HEADS AND YES WE CATCH FISH ON THOSE BIG SHAD !!!!!,LOL

big shad heads work well and i have had just as much luck with the bodies on bottom with the're bellies cut open

yes, just DON"T throw your extra in the lake!!!! Last year i cast-netted over 800 lbs of shad out of our lake trying to improve the "bite"
