Just curious if anyone knows when they are going to start really stocking trout for the winter? I like to head out there in the winter and get a few.

i was there last monday and she said it would be 2 weeks so another week and she will have a load or 2 in her lake

october 17 is the date i got from the front desk. i ve never fished this lake but will be fishing for trout there. where are the good spots to fish for trout.

I have caught them all around the lake there. I have pulled about 20 the past 2 years, I have yet to catch one on an artifical lure or a live bait!!! Not sure why, I usually have good luck with jigs and rooster tails or cleos. I can only catch them on corn or powerbait, and usually on a float about 3 feet down.

Yeah they stocked trout the 18th I believe. I went on the 20th from 7 to 7 and Monica was giving out a free pass for the biggest catfish and the biggest trout of the day but no one won either because zero fish were caught.

After this week they'll only be open on the weekends from from 7 to 7.

After this week they'll only be open on the weekends from from 7 to 7. They should be open during the week as well. I usually fish there in the winter for trout during the week. They open at 9 though, or at least used to. I might swing by there and see. I know they stocked Stonelick with trout today, put 1000 of them in there. I will try and get some tomorrow. |

I'm not sure if they used to but I'm almost positive there not going to this year. I was there on Monday and I was told that it would be the last week they would stay open during the week. Starting next week its Friday-Sunday 7 to 7. She said these hours would change when it starts to get dark earlier.
