I just wanted to see what you all think about this ? We went to cp2 four weeks ago on a Saturday. My Uncle hits a 49 lber. We take it to the dock and weigh it. Andy weighs it and said 53 lbs. he took 3 lbs off for the net.So its a 49 lber. They both go up and tell Jamie. We call back on Monday and they said it held up. $90.00 will be here when we come back up.We go this Saturday and no one Knows any thing about it. Andy doesn't no any thing about weighing it.We talked to James about it and to bad. Jamie's not here any more so to bad. What do you think ?

A lot of this is probably going to happen with the fallout of Jamie and Tina being gone now. Sorry to hear, but I feel more people will have this same issue if their money was there when the change over happened.

my dad is at cfp2 rite nw in a bergendy ford ranger he jus hit a 56 pound shovel at the top lake

I think they have screwed alot of people out of jackpot money over the years, but that's just what I think.

Maybe the new guys can get it worked out ? I'm not going back this year. Maybe next year ? Home of the big cats Owner James Reed More big cats per acre then any where in the world. Thats what the sign says. All I'm saying if James Reed owns the lake he needs to stand behind his lake. Not just say Jamie's not here any more so to bad.

yea i think there lake is a rip off on there jackpots. i think they just write some weights up on the board higher than most of the fish they got cause they know no one will catch one bigger.they need some pots that pay when you hit them like a 40 and 50 jar just having a weekly jar and 70 jar is stupid i like getting paid when i catch the fish not waiting all week. then you run into problems like wheeler's.if they had a slot jackpot the 15 pound slot would be empty all the time cause most there fish weigh around 15 pounds lol.

You know what .I don't even think about winning money from cp2. As far as that goes I don't think about it at any pay lake. If I get in the jars or slots and hit one thats just a plus.I just like to fish.I fish with 3 or 4 guys if some one hits one then its theirs.But if we get in a tournament and we say split thats what we do.The money coming from cp2 was my uncles not mine.I told him he would never get. before we went.I knew Jamie was gone.

sorry to hear this mike you would think he would have done something for you.i like fishing cp2 but this is bad news.they wonder why no 1 wants to fish out there anymore.i got tired of the way things were ran out there.so i tried a new lake and have had a great time at springwater and i trust them

Thats a bunch of bull%$^# I have only fished cp2 once a couple years ago and just caught tiny shovelhead, When I hear people are catching fish like CP1 used to be then i might go back till then not gonna deal with that crazy place to many NICE lakes around with GOOD people running and fishing them! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR $$$$$$$

That is just lake to catch a lot of fish in. "More big fish per acre" lies. Fished there twice and thats the end of it. I only fish lakes with big fish in it now.
As for your money. That is pretty crappy. They definitley don't have a very professional run business out there, maybe the new guys will do a better job of that.

James needs to change his sign to say " HOME OF MORE DINKS PER ACRE OF WATER THAN ANY WHERE IN THE WORLD". I was there a while back and caught 5 fish. And 4 of them were under 10 pounds. There was 1 that was problay about 3 lbs. I would rather go and sit all day long and catch 1 fish over 50lbs at Hickory Groove or some other good lake, that sit out at CP2S and catch 30 ranging from 10 - 20 pounds.

told u guys months ago. "More big fish per dumpster that anywhere in the world." went to bepre last week them guys have made some changes it aint a run down dump anymore lets hope they know how to haul fish.

I thought this thread was about the jackpots not about the bashing of CP2 AGAIN??? There are plenty of other threads, like everyone one that you all can bash on. For once I would like to just stick to what this thread was origanally about, is it that freaking hard?
