From my friends that fish down there, they catch them here and there, they move around a lot. I will ask them and see if I can find out exactly where they are going. I know if you are not there at the right time of day you wont get any.

Skipjack are running pretty good right now on the ohio river you can get them along the banks, boat ramps are goood scmidt field, public landing riverside are all good spots if you dont have a boat, around barges or rocky banks, and the locks and dams, the skipjacks i have got in the past two weeks are pretty small 6-8 inches. use sabiki rigs with small# hooks and get down there right before the sun comes up or going down and you will see em jumping around, they go down after the sun hits the water and you wont see em again till dusk
