they dont "all" break. ive been usin mine for about a year with no problems at all and have caught 3 fish over 50 lbs on them without a problem. as long as you dont throw them and bang them around all the time they will be great rods for you.

i've caught quite a few fish on my 10' emcast no problems either,nothing big though, i just don't think you can abuse them like some other rods you have to take care of them, they're one of the lightest rods though for the cost

i have had mine for almost 2 years and i have one break and that was in the back of a truck when the bait tank slide across the bed and smashed it,but beside that i have no problems caught a ton of fish on them.great rods in my opinion.

ya true,it did suck we had 3 poles get smashed luckly only one whose mine.
