daiwa rods or premier nite stix would be your best rods for under $100 ,alot of these guys use the rockets and pro rockest, i'm going away from garcia buying more shimanos now, but in the poll you have to vote for two rod makers and some of them you can't buy a rod for under $100, i've got five gLoomis rods and the ones i got start from $210-360 , and the only St.Croix you can get under a $100 now is the Triumph and they're ice fishin rods

I use St. Croix rods and you can't get them for under $100. I also use the BPS Cat Maxx and they have worked very nice, not one problem with them, and I have 5 of them.

I HAVE TO SAY UGLY STICKS CAUSE I HAVE BEEN USING THE SAME 2 RODS FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS NOW. 12 FOOTER'S HEAVY ACTION......LOVE EM A LITTLE HEAVY BUT THATS COOL WITH ME...

You can not buy st croix or g-loomis surf casting rods for under $100.00. I HAVE TO SAY UGLY STICKS CAUSE I HAVE BEEN USING THE SAME 2 RODS FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS NOW. 12 FOOTER'S HEAVY ACTION......LOVE EM A LITTLE HEAVY BUT THATS COOL WITH ME...

im going to say daiwa emcast just because i have never had a problem they are light and durable,i own 8 of them,but i also like the cabeleas predator rod for the same price which is 60 $.
