I am thinking of getting a couple emcasts this year just wondering if you guys like medium heavy or heavy, I am use to Eliminators that ive been fishing with for 5 years or so and hate to give them up but the eyes have seen better days thanks for the info! FISH ON

well the 10s are med heavy which i love but if ya like stiffer rods get the 11s there heavy,i would recommend these rods very nice i have 8,lol,but we can get 11s around here at beaver lake for 65 $ ,lol

Thanks for the info guys gonna pick some up this week cant wait to try them out, been fishing the same 4 eliminators for 5 years now time for a change! I have heard the good and the bad about them and they sound like there worth a shot. FISH ON

yea some people set the hook like they have nite sticks now thats the only rod thats been tourcher tested

I like the rods for the price range... They are very light, which is great when your trolling all ticket. My only gripe is that they might say they are Heavy action, but compared to most other graphites, they are more MH if anything. I have never broken any, but I have seen plenty of broken Emcasts around the lakes. But that's also true for Tica, Catmaxx, and several others, the only sub $100 rod I don't see many issues with are the Okuma Solaris, but they weigh almost double of what an Emcast weighs.
