I always use fresh cutbait, always work real good for me.I'm trying to find me some skips right now, i'm headed for castaway.

use little shad like 3 inchers nd step on em nd throw them out nd mayb troll nd u will tear up some blues nd if u can find em tip it wit a leech thts if u got any or like katmaster said any fresh cut bait will do!

I like shad heads, and bluegill heads etc. Usually smaller in size early in the year. Any cut bait should do alright.

Smaller the better untill the water hits 60 and remains steady! Then live gill and warmouth and the always dependable SHAD!
