Fished the new lake today from 5 am to 3 pm. Caught 4 before 10 and then missed 3. They were biting slow and not holding on at all. I only saw a few other fish caugt. The biggest was 33. The 40 had been busted 3 times in the last three days and one guy told me that allot of fish were being caught yesterday.
The biggest problem we had was that we could not keep our leeches on or our guts in our shad because of the blue gill. That lake is full of bait fish and it was getting really frustrating. When i was leaving i saw a kid blue gill fishing and he could not keep his pole in the water.
