yah it's a nice website i think the site is still under some construction but awsome pictures i know some of them guys in the pictures and they catch them like that on a regular basis.

Does anyone know how big that one blue is one there? That fish has been caught a lot of times. Nice lookin fish.

hey alsept1 the big blue your talking about (spike) started this year about 63# but as they all do, he has dropped a few pounds. we caught several others in the 53, 54 range and the biggest was 70.

why would you want to keep big fish like that, you cant eat them,kepp them in the lake for another day to catch..

I like fishing for channels, but I never keep them. I love that you can't keep anything at Folz. It gives the channels a chance to get some size to them. I've caught a few channels in the 5-10lb. range there.
I also like the fact that there are some good sized carp in both lakes too, but not so many that they take over the lakes. All in all, I guess Folz is my favorite place to fish.

hey thanks coffeeman we appreciate your support. guys like you are the reason we began the catch and release policy. and your right there are some nice carp in both lakes but not to many people fish for them.

i go to folz on a regular basis and ive caught crappie on crappie jigs there are some decent crappie in there but most you will catch are the good bait size and the bass fishing ive never gone bass fishing in there but a guy who fishes there says that in the morning and right before dark he throws a black buzzbait and catches a handfull he says hes had a couple 4-5 pounders and a couple little ones he says throw off the dam and you should catch them also a rubber lizard works as well like chartruse pepper or pumkinseed chartruse

I have a season pass to folz fishing lakes. I am up there almost every day that he is open. My biggest out of there is 37. My buddys have hit 70's 60's 50's 40's like it is nothing it is a really nice lake to fish and the owner is a cool guy.
