From what I was told its 35ft deep on the end opposite the bait house. May want to ask them there tho. It was stocked with I think over 65000lbs the last three years more to come soon. The guy at bait shop was telling me all this so not exactly sure. On all of this may want to ask as well when you get there. also said as of right now he stocked around 90 percent blues 10 percent shovels. Fish are really heathy in here. clean lake. I am just itching to go again. I have learned so many new things this year and try different things everytime I make it down to a paylake. just sucks I live so far away. Hope this helps

YES IT WOULD,THE ONLY LAKES THAT I NOW ARE OPEN,ARE COZY DALE,CASTAWAYS,FOREST LAKE IN SPRINGFIELD,MAYBE FOLZS

O YA THEY PUT A TON OF BIG BLUES IN THIS SPRING,I CAUGHT A LOT OUT THERE THIS YEAR,LAST YEAR THE 50 AND OVER WAS NOT EVEN HIT BUT THIS YEAR IT GOT BUSTED OVER 15 TIMES AND ALOT OF THEM WERE MY BUDDYS,ACTUALLY I HAD A GOOD NIGHT THERE LAST NIGHT CAUGHT 11,WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FISH WE CAN MEET UP THERE,I DONT LIVE FAR FROM IT EITHER.

FRESH MICRO SHAD,2-4 INCHERS THEIR HEADS,AND SKIPJACK,FISH THE FRONT LAKE,I ALWAYS THROW OUT 3 POLES FISH ONE 5 FEET,ONE 8 FEET AND ONE RIGHT OFF BOTTOM OR ON BOTTOM I DID GOOD LAST NIGHT STRAIGHT ON BOTTOM,O I DONT THINK I CAN COME SATURDAY,BUT GOOD LUCK LET ME KNOW HOW YA DO.

Hey just to let everybody know, Fat Cats is closed for the winter. They will re-open on March 1st. They closed kind of early this year, due to some zoning compliance issues. The new bait shop is being built this winter so Dan will have much more bait, tackle, and supplies on hand. Next year he will be open later into the year, but his zoning only allows him to be open from March 1st - November 30th. Also, they are building the road up on the back end so, as of next year you will be able to drive completely around the lake. Hope this helped.
