Hey everyone, this is the owner of FAT CATS, my name is Dan. I want to start out by thanking all the guys that came out this year. Hope u had a good time. I thought i would clear up a few things that i have seen on here. For people that have not been to the lake. It is 7.25 acres, the average is around 25 ft. deep and the deepest is forty. The deep Trench runs around 2/3 of the lake and starts about 1/3 off each side. I have been stocking since march or 2005. Mainly blues and shovels. Hope to have a channel lake in soon. Our web. address is www.fatcatspaylake.com .. I try to keep it updated as much as possible. This coming year we will have daily or weekly fishing reports and pot amounts. I also tell everyone wether driving a mile or 100 to call first. I know u can't guarantee to catch fish, but we will let you know how they are biting so u can make a decision. We tell it how it is and no bullsssst. If anyone has questions or comments please feel free to contact me via email or phone. Thanks again! And hope to you all next spring. Dan

figure it died from stress, it swam away like a rocket. it was hot out when i hauled it but the other 1500lbs. did ok. lost a few. it was a shame but no matter what size lake u have, your going to loose fish. even catch and release, in a river, the fish sometimes still die. i have pay laked for about 15 + years and i have fished most of all the good lakes. i will say the fish in a big, deep lake are without a doubt healthier and last longer and fight harder. i have very little fish loss. not knocking small shallow lakes. but use your common sense and think about it. say u take a 100+fish out of say, the miss. river which is large and deep and put that fish in a .9 or even a 4 acre lake that average dept is say4 to 10 ft. deep with hardly any new water coming in it. how well do you think they will do and for how long. for anyone who doesn't understand that, think what it would be like for you to go from where you live now and live the rest of your life in a closet. don't think u would last long. hope i cleared that one up for everyone. I'm not trying to say my lake is better than anyone Else's. the facts are just the facts, when it comes to bigger deeper lakes. they are definitely better for the fish.

This is an awsome pay lake that I plan on fishing again this year and hopefully get some more monsters out of here. I am excited to see what all you have done with the place
