Just letting everyone know that the fish are really turning on at Fat Cats. On 06/17 the 45 over blue pot was busted 3 times in one night, the 35 over shovel pot is getting busted almost daily, and I believe the two weekly big fish are 59 and 56. And just to let you guys know, he's going to be treating the lake in about a week. And you know what that means... Actually that just means I'll be down there almost every night, lol.
But anyway Dan's doing good things down there, you guys should check it out if your ever down here in my neck of the woods lol, it's well worth a visit. Dan or whoever his help may be will let you know where they've been hitting at and what they've been hitting on. They carry everything at the bait shop that you need as far as live bait goes. But I will warn you, if you want shad or skipjack bring your own. When he gets it in, it's usually all gone within a day.
So anyway, I seen some of you were interested in his lake so I figured I'd give you a little bit of an update.

You will get off at 665, then go west down 665 for about 1-2 miles. You'll pass SWACO (a land fill) on the left. As soon as you pass SWACO, it's the first and only road WITH a road sign on the left. It's Young Rd. Take Young Rd. down about 2 miles, about 500 ft. after you go over the 71 bridge it will be the gravel road right after the equestrian place. There isn't a sign close to the road so just pull into the gravel drive and the sign is at the fence. You might want to give them a call they may be able to give you better directions. I suck at typing directions... Their number is *614-516-8518*

HEY RANDY LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. THANKS SUBLIME FOR THE INFO. Well.......Stopped by yesterday and checked it out. Good size lake, I think the lake help told me 8 acres with a trench running down half the lake at about 30' deep . also has a hole at the far end thats about 19' deep and somewhere around 15' to 20' in diameter. Its all flat land out there so expect this lake to be windy most of the time which will help auto troll through that trench . Distance,.... Driving a 20' box truck with cruise control set at 60mph1 Hour and 10 minutes from 71 @ Rt. 48 1 Hour and 20 minutes from 71 @ 275 The speed limit is 65 up that way so you should be able to get away with 70 which will shave some time off the trip. I think I'm going to make this trip just for somewhere different to fish and from the stories I've heard sounds like the odds of catching some fish are favorable.
