A few days ago one of the greatest if not greatest catfishermen passed away. His name was Bill Parker. He was from Huntsville Alabama. I know most of you dont know who he was but I guarantee you almost all of you have caught his fish. Even alot of lake owners dont know the fish they bought came from him. I do know that the three biggest fish haulers/fishermen in the area know him. Most of those big cats like the 70,s 80,s 90,s 100,s came from him. Thats right from him. Don't let anyone tell you any different. If they do they are lying. Bill had a heart attack this week. I have known Bill and bought fish from him for only six years but I considered him not just someone I bought fish from but a friend. The catfishing industry will miss him more then anyone knows. Bill was the greatest. I will say a prayer for his family and ask everone else to also.

Don't know much about Bill, did meet him once about 4 or 5 years ago I was very impressed with his knowledge of catfishing. Sounds like a memorial tournament may be in order.
