Cedar Lake has a tournament planned for April 22. The entry fee will be $45. The tournament well have a drawling for your spot and will be a two pole tournament. Starts at 7 am should be there an hour early. These tournaments are a lot of fun you should check it out.

Biggest fish of the tourney= $1000
Biggest fish of the hour= $150
Second biggest fish of the hour= $100
Money is based on a 100 entries.

One thing Greg forgot to mention is that if there are no fish caught in each hour there is a carry over to the next hour. His cousin(my son age 12 at the time) won $250.00 for a 5lbs 6oz shovel. Greg is right this tourney is fun!!!

is this tournament have to be prepaid or can you pay the day of? my brother and i are interested in trying it out, never fished here before.

Yeah it is prepaid. They are only selling like 100 tickets and that is it. If they have a problem selling them, they will sell the tickets the day of the tourney for like $55 instead of $45.

never fished a tournament. the payouts sound great. but 100 people with 2 poles each sounds like a lot of fishing lines - do these tournaments reallly draw 100 people? what happens to the payouts if only 30 people sign up? thx!

Yeah the get around 100 people to fish every time. The lake can hold that many people and still is not that crowded. If only thirty people showed up then the lake will ask the fisherman what they want to do.

Well didn't get a good drawl. Picked about 20-30th. I was able to catch one fish that weighed 10 lb but didn't win. The biggest fish of the day was a 57 lb blue cat, caught by the bubbler's. I was able to win a t- shirt in a raffle lol.
