I generally don't use rod holders so my reels usually lie on the ground, if im not trolling, does anyone use a reel cover or the likes to keep your reels from getting trashed.

i have used old carpet tiles throw em on the ground set the reels on em

most people at our lake use some type of rod holder to keep them off the ground

i just set mine on the ground unless is raining then i will put somthing under the reels like abag or somn you dont what that gravel splashin in your reels!
