Has anyone checked the water temps yet ?
I think the Shovels start to move in the low 50's, the blue's are more than likely already moving.
Please correct me if I'm wrong

Looks like I'll have to go test the temps, I have a thermometer that regestirs the depth and the temp, tie it on and cast it out. I use my bait poll for this, its pretty cool.......you can throw it out in your favorate hole and get the reading from down in that hole I'll let you guys know.....

Stoped by Cedar yesterday, met Alsept1 and checked the temp while I was b*ll sh*ting.
The temp in 13' to 14' of water was 54 degrees with a surface temp of 56 degrees.

If it is that hot, dosn't it mean the shovels are on the nest and the blues are probably coming off? Also helps explain why everything that has been caught lately is a shovel? Peace Elijah
