 Ok I went fishing the other night and my buddy has a 10ft stcroix mod to fast action surf rod I fell in love after he let me cast it. I was wondering if there is any thing that compares to this rod maybe a little cheeper. I was looking at the emcast and the okuma solaris but didn't cast them. So should I buy one of the cheaper models I mentioned or just break the bank and buy the st croix?  Thank you

Teh STcroix is the top of the line, never been lucky enough to cast one, but I do have three Emcast 11ft rods and I love them..
