Went to cedar on Saturday night, first time for me at this lake. Good looking laking and very friendly people, I got one good run but float popped up before I got to it. My buddy got a 15lb shovel, a guy down the lake pulled in a 28 and 30 I think those were the biggest fish of the night. There was a guy across the lake that had a decent fish but not sure if he got it in, he got tangled with some other lines and I think his buddy went to sleep on him because he was yelling for the guy to help him net the fish, someone next to him did help him out. Left cedar at 7:15 and decided to go to sherry's, did not want to buy another 12 hour ticket and you can fish for a dollar an hour at sherry's. Got to sherry's and within 45 minutes pulled in a 29-1/2 shovel, and then 20 minutes later I beat my personal best with a 76-1/2 blue. I think three more 30's were pulled out before we left, not buy us, my bud got a 17 blue but thats it. A decent night and morning of fishing. Sorry pic not the best had to scan them.

Yes alsept it is the largest fish in sherry's, small lake but packed with fish. Garry the owner mentioned they have lots of 50 and 60lb fish in the lake, it looked to be turning on there. I think after work tonight I will head up to sherrys and fish for a couple of hours, its nice on third shift, I get off at 5:30a.m. in the morning and I can fish for a couple hours and still get home in time to get sleep for work that day.

went to cedar lake 11-2 and fished 12 hours and caught 1 shovel about 12 pounds thats my 3rd time there and the only fish i have caught and i had one of the few good spots i think that the best paylake i have ever went to is catfishermans paradise 2 but the cance of winning any money there is not good i don't even think that there is anything over 60 in there even though they have a 70 and over jar but it has not been hit since 06 i heard that all the big one died over the winter last year i have never went there and not caught a fish well good luck everyone

Don't give up on Cedar Just yet. This time of year fishing is rough. If you can fish at Cedar in May and June of next year, you will catch a boat load of fish.

Depending on where you fish i would start at about 12 1/2 foot deep and go from there(try to stay up by the buoys some where/front end of the lake). There are spot that are deeper you just have to find the. It is a fun lake to figure out.
