greg im kind of new to the paylake thing i was wondering if you knew what them thangs were called that click when you get a bite on your rob i thought it was a bait clicker so i bought one and that only works when i reel in When you want to use your bait clicker apply it after you cast out when you sit your pole down. When you get a bite the fish will pull line out and sound off the clicker. They are also used when using BIG live bait, keeps the bait from pulling line out and swimming all over the lake. or When fishing the river you can set it tight and it keeps the current from pulling your line out. 1 thing I have learned over the years is that some of those big ones are very smart and will drop the bait when they feel the slightest tension.............Food For Thought Good luck this year.............Catch a HOG

Also after you apply the clicker forward you have to press the button down to free the spool. This will make it real easy for line to be pulled. Good luck this year.

You have to stretch it across a creek and tie both sides off to a tree or something.
