Dawest, I was talking to Bluecatblues. There is no lake in covington called bluecatblues. The lake I was referring to is a state owned lake in devou park. If you are looking for a good bait spot there are two lakes at Mills park in Taylor Mill.

ok my bad and yea i am at mills alot and catch alot of bait at doe run as well, but havent gotten up to prisoners much the past year or so that used to be my second hangout when i just wanted to kill some time and wet a line always a good lake for channels

i think im gonna head up to cedar this sunday be the 500 starts! how deep are everyone catching them? and whats a good spot by the dam?

I have been catching them on minnows about 4.5 foot deep and on powerbait on the bottom. Not sure what you are talking about by the dam. i never see people fish for trout down there. I stay up front but have been wanting to try the back of the lake.

goin friday morning to try and catch some trout, then goin to cozy-dale saturday morning and fishing all day tryin to get a monster winter blue, but gotta see what the weather is gonna b like first i might wait till next week.. will let everyone kno...

I was able to catch my 4 trout today. One was about 3#s and the rest were perfect bait size ;D.
