Cedar has decided to stop people from catfishing till sometime in March Monica said. The reason being is that people must not be taking care of the fish when they catch it or they are snagging them. I think this is a great idea. Cant wait till spring.

I called her on Saturday to see if the lake was going to be opened for fishing on Sunday, That's when I found out about the no catfishing, kind of sucks. I was really wanting to try the lake out. We headed down the road to Cozy and fished for about 6 hours. Only hit one, 40 pound shovel.

COOL THIS IS A GOOD IDEA. SEE ALOT OF PEOPLE SNAGGING FISH THIS TIME OF YEAR. I HAVE HAD IT HAPPEN TO ME WHILE TROLLING DIDNT MEAN TO IT'S JUST A REACTION WHEN YOU SEE THE FLOAT MOVE...BUT I DO BELEAVE SOME DO ON PURPOSE.

i have litterally seen a guy snag 20 to 25 fish 1 day in march!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!At a lake called SKY LAKE in chesapeak ohio! He was getting away with it to,because he'd take the hook out of it and let the kids go get a picture with it,and the kids would tell them his name to put on the board!!!!CHAPPED MY A$$

yeah i junderstand last time i was out there i snagged a 38. my float dropped and i swong nothing i cojuld do there was a djude up there who was trojut fishing tellin me how to snag em and nuts that was to wierd but i think it is a great idea to keep those fish alive and healty for the spring

i was at cp2 last year in feb couple of guys were catching fish left and right id say 50 fish and about 45 were snagged

LOL i used to fish at skylake as well josh , alot of ppl snaggin em there , seems like the owners dont care either ,havent been up that way in a long time

Thanks Randy, That's my fishing buddy Ethan. I just had the pleasure of netting the fish. I plam on putting a couple more photos out here before the season really starts.
