I think we need to develop a membership card for those that are members so we can show at paylakes for the ones that give discounts.Whats everyone think about a printable membership card,

...not a bad idea, but at the same time, if the guys that run the lakes have a list there, and you give them your screen name, that should suffice

now that i think of it, membership cards and the screen name could screw over the owners.....
hear me out:
as soon as people catch wind of "discounted" tickets, they are gonna sign up , post a few time, and get their membership card so they can get the good price.
I think it will be up to the guys that own these lakes, and post on here all of the time to maybe come up with their own list as to who is "worthy" of the discounted price based on site parcipitation. i could go make another screen name right now, post a few times, and then bring a buddy along to enjoy the cheap rate on a ticket. if i was an owner of a lake, i wouldn't want that.
face it, there are a handful that post on here constantly, just go through the threads and find out for yourself.
so, now that i think of it, cards would be cool, but not effective imho.
the discount would be up to the lake owner, but be thankful of the info that you get on the site, and the people that you may meet that are willing to give you their strats on each lake.
not trying to be a d head, just have been thinking about it, and don't want these lake owners to get screwed over, because they give me a place to fish, if i could afford it, i would own my own lake and stock it...

maybe after a certain amount of posts you can be eligable for a member card? or maybe after you enter a cincypaylake tourney youre eligable. just some ideas......

Just a thought - lake owners know who their regular repeat customers are without cards - a few years back I fished a particular paylake way too many times in one year ( according to my wife - I wasn't counting). I spent a bundle. The lake owners knew me well. but never offered a discount?

maybe sending the active users someting in their email then giving that list to the lakes that give discounts just a thought

i agree with the idea of once youve posted so many times,and then entered a tourney you should be eligable. Also,i think its way cool of some of the owners to offer discounts,cuase like i read above i too fished a certain lake religiously and am on first name bases with the people that run it and still never offered a discount,even though i probably provided half there house payment every month for 3 summers lol

I think of us have been to enough lakes to relize most owners are going to give discounts.
Usually if the people know you they will take care of you, i cant just see them taking the time to check a card and then to give u discount, but I could be wrong....
I am also leaning with snake on this there are to many variables...

I think it is a pretty interesting idea in concept but think about it paylakes are a business and their there to make money. being a regular is our choice. I personally dont mind paying as much as the next guy. it would make me feel like I was cheating them if I won a jackpot, and didnt pay full price.
