Most pay lake fisherman like to go after the big fish, which is awesome. I like to catch the stocked farm raised channel cats for good fish frys at home.
Could use some help with the best pay lakes to fish for stocked channel cats.
Thanks!!

I know when longs was open there was just a lake for channels and you could keep them for like a dollar a pound something like that.

I used to get an extra pole at White Oak Valley for channels. It was easy to catch your limit there. We used to stock ponds with them. I have good luck at Stone Lick Lake too.

Folz has good sized channels stocked, but it's catch and release only. That lets the channels get big, and big channels put up a big fight. I caught a 5lb. channel at Folz yesterday on a medium action rod, and it was a great fight.
