I am think of doing alot of shovel head fishing this year and i know this kinda sounds crazzy but i was wandering if they still made 18'' corks or is anyone new were i could get them.

i havent seen any bobbers of that size in a while. i usually use 8-12 inch bobbers or thill big game 6 inch floats. and a straw float an inch longer than the bobber using. i only like my float to be about 2 inches or a lil more above the water.

That is way to big of a float. there is no reason to have a float that big at a paylake.

yea i use 12'' zing corks.. but a guy I fish with said back in his day everyone used them if they were useing large bait..I like to be old school I guess. but if u here of any that big let me know

hell what are you going to do beat the fish.. You would need 4 oz's to get it to even stand if its a non weighted float.. never get the bait to move around at all..
