so can you use dead shad and if so can you keep them alive in a tank before cuting them for bait.
the fresher the better.
would like to know going to fish there in a week and shad my fav bait.

well being that it says, no "LIVE" shad well if you do have/get them, then just put them on ice before you get to the lake. Does not say anything about dead shad. I know what you mean i as well like to use them. Going to H.Woods this wk.end and get some to freeze..

i would'nt freeze them fresh is the key just bag them and put them in the frig .
that works as long as you use them within a couple of days.

Rules 1 & 10 were rules about fires......No fires are allowed now so I crossed them out....... and please no live shad at the lake, they always seem to find their way into the lakes somehow...most people wouldnt do this but it only takes a few idiots to throw a few in and before you know it theres schools of shad in the lake, so please no live shad!! dead is fine they cant breed that way (I dont think :  |

charcoal is OK..I ask got to be in your grill..
would be nice at night it gets cold with the wind blowing.
This lake is called Windmill because the wind is almost always blowing...
