Always wanted to dig one, because I don't like freezing my a$$ off in the winter. I have catfish fever bad all year long. I know most of you do too. Separate the building, make one side day and one side night. It would be climate controlled and water could be filtered for crystal clear water and healthy fish. Maybe a retractable roof? I keep hearing voices in my head "if you dig it they will come". Ha ha. Underwater cameras ? A scoreboard with the biggest of the day and the total of the jars? Would it be profitable? If i had the money it would already be done............maybe I lost my mind long time ago.....................

This may sound odd, but I accually had a dream about an indoor catfish lake. Although i know ive lost my mind too... anyways, in my dream there was also a big tackle/bait shop connected, so thats something to think about it. The idea of having one side day and the other night it preaty cool. And so is the scoreboard. I would deffentially fish an indoor lake. I bet the best buisness would be wintertime when everyone catches the bug, and in the heat of summer it the building had AC

This has come up many times at night while fishing between my friends and I'm sure with a lot of other people. You would have to justify the price of construction and upkeep. It would have to be a massive building and you would have a massive gas or electric bill heating both the building and the lake. You'd also have to have artificial 'sun' at twelve hour periods or the fish would freak out. I'm sure you would get a lot of people interested, especially in the winter. The real question is would you pay say $50 to $100 a ticket to fish there so that the owners could profit?

YOU SHOW ME 50'S 60'S 7O'S POUND FISH GOING IN TO A LAKE. AND PITCHER'S OF THE FISH BEING CAUGHT, FOR A INDOOR LAKE I WOULD PAY 50.00 A MONTH. UNTIL MY WIFE FOUND OUT. THEN THAT'S A DEFFERNT STORY.
