Don't laugh!!!I was out trying to catch night crawlers after a decent rain but wasn't having any luck. The only thing i was seeing was huge yellow slugs. So i figured i would give it a try. The next day i put 3 of them on my 2OT hook and started trolling. The first cast i caught a nice flathead in the 20lb range. Has anyone else tried this.

Don't overlook plastic baits either. I have caught a 35lb blue on a 9inch worm, and a 22lb shovel on a yellow 1/2oz spinnerbait.

Has anyone tried using Full small shad and tip the hook with one of the Glow in the dark green Nightcrawlers. I was getting alot of action on that setup last night. Blues and Channels alike.

I get them in my back yard. They are everywhere. They come out right after a good rain just like night crawlers.
