I just got back from Stone Lick Lake. I hit the spillway area pretty hard and came up empty handed. I didn't see any shad being washed over the dam either. I'm wet and baitless.

Went today March 24 and was able to CATCH 1 shad wahooo. Going to cedar tomorrow and that is what will catch the big one.

cowan lake has alot of shad, i usually hit it at night in the beach area. if you get it at the right time you can get enough shad to fish for weeks if you can keep it alive.
