Just wondering if the shad are up yet? Any reports would be great. I usualy get mine from ceasers creek and stonelick.

Through for about an 1/2 hour at ceasers creek. Nothing but one smile striped bass. Please post when and where as soon as you start getting shad. I will do the same. Peace Elijah

I'll be heading out for shad before the EZ tournament and I'll let you know. I'd like to get some fresh shad on ice (way better than frozen) for the tournament. I'll be hitting up Cowan and Stone Lick this week.

Went out to Stonelick today. Throw the net about 40 times and got about 30 shad so not to bad. Will have plenty for the tourney tomorrow at Cedar.

Shad has been available in kentucky for about the past two months. I hit a couple private lakes. They are about 4-6 inches.
