Went to the river today and caught a ton of mooneyes. Just thought i would let everyone know they are running good right know.

Fish for them the same way you fish for bluegill. They are a type of herring.

What size Greg? Where could I find these in the river. I have access to down town and the mouth of the licking.

I was catching them in the Little Miami river where Kelloge Ave. and Salem road meet. But you may be able to catch them there. They are about 10+ inches long. They make excellent cut bait.
