True Rock Bass,..........He's probably about 8" long fat and healthy. He is in my bait tank (125 gallon aquarium) in the basement along with some other warmouths and pumkinseeds.... ;D Here's a couple shots of some warmouths in the same tank,

i caught a rock bass about 10" long about 1/2 pound and caught a 15 pound shovel on it

use to be able to get rock bass out of 7mile creek, been quite a few yrs sence ive been there. Use to get them right there where the train track goes by at the rocks, great small mouth creek as well..

hey i can get them but i go to a little farm pond of my best friends and he has them in there and i can get them out of eagle creek just find a shallow but not to shallow u no something about no deeper than 12 feet with big rocks and u can catch them there normally on the bottom though wit night crawlers and them warmouth those are really yellow bellied perch i know thats wierd but a buddy of mine was like yea and showed me a picture of them in a wildlife book i was like wlel if u can get a TRUE warmouth they are one of the best baits i ever used
