I KNOW EVERYONE ONE HAS A GOOD PLACE TO GET BLUE GILL. BUT I KNOW OF A PLACE 10 MINUTES FROM LEBANON THAT IS JUST LOADED WITH THEM. WHEN I WENT I CAUGHT 40 TO 50 OF THESES THINGS IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. YOU CANT DO MUCH OTHER FISHING IN THE LAKE BECUASE IT IS OVER LAODED WITH PLANT GROWTH INLESS YOU GO REALLY EARLY IN THE YEAR BUT GREAT FOR BAIT FISH. SCHOOLS OF THEM IT WILL KINDA BLOW YOUR MIND.

my bad i guess it would help if i told you. if you know where the SPRING VALLY WILDLIFE AREA IS. ITS THE PLACE WITH THE GUN RANGE. IF YOUR GOING THERE FROM 42 YOULL TAKE A RIGHT ON ROXANNA NEW BURLINGTON. YOULL GO OVER THE BIKE TRAIL AND THE ROAD TO YOUR LEFY WILL TAKE YOU TO THE GUN RANGE BUT IF YOU STAY ON THAT ROAD GOING STRAIGHT FOR ABOUT AN EIGTH MILE YOU TAKE A RIGHT ON THE FIRST STREET YOULL GO TILL IT DAED END TILL YOU GET TO THE SPRING VALLY MARSH. THERE IS A LITTLE SPOT THERE TO GET TO THE LITTLE MIAMI RIVER TOO WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE GOOD HOLES AROUND THERE. YOU CAN MISS THE PLACE ITS A HUGE MARSH. YOU JUST FIND A LITTLE OPENING IN THE THICK OF IT AND THROUGH YOURSELF A WAX WORM IN. NOW WHERE THE DRAIN IS TO THE CREEK RIGHT PAST THE FENCE THAT YOU HAVE TO WEAVE THROUGH BE REALLY CAREFUL. THERE CAN BE REALLY BIG SNAKES IN THERE. AND ITS ALWAYS THERE ITS HUGE. SCARED ME MORE THAN ONCE. NO ABOUT THE WAX WORMS THE GAS STATION IN WAYNESVILLE SELLS LIVE BAIT AND YES WAX WORMS SOMEHOW THEY ALWAYS HAVE THEM.

I GOT THAT FROM YOU ILL LOOK TO SEE EXACTLY WHAT IT IS THAT I BOUGHT. BUT I READ YOUR REVIEW AND GOT SOME. ILL LET YOU KNOW HOW THEY WORK. BUT WHEN YOU GET TO THE LAKE. IT DEAD END RIGHT INTO IT ITS A BIG TURN AROUND AREA. THERE WILL BE THAT LIL GATE THAT IM TALKING ABOUT THAT YOU NEED TO WEAVE THROUGH ITS TO KEEP 4 WHEELERS OUT. A GOOD SPOT IS ABOUT 20 YARDS FROM THAT RIGHT BY THE DRAIN. THEN WHERE YOU PARK THERE IS A LIL BOAT RAMP OF SOME SORT JUSTFIND A OPENING OFF THAT. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY I TOOK MY ULTRA LIGHT WITH REALLY LIGHT LINE AND I T WAS ACTULLY PRETTY DANG FUN. YOU NEED ONE PERSON BAITING HOOKS WHILE THE OTHER REALS IN TO EASY. YOU NORMALLY NEVER SEE ANYONE BACK THERE THIS TIME OF YEAR CAUSE ILL YOU HAVE IS LITTLE OPENINGS AND PEOPLE DONT LIKE IT I GUESS. IF YOU WANT TO GIG FOR FROGS ITS A DARN GOOD PLACE TO DO THAT TOO. MEMBER WATCH OUT FOR THAT SNAKE HE WILL BE THERE.

Winton Woods near the boat drop off is also PACKED with Warmouths and Blue Gills. I can get about 5 of them off of one wax worm in about 10 minutes or so. Tons of shad too, but they'll bust you for throwing a net out.
