has anyone used pumpkinseeds for bait catch alot of them in the licking river and just throw them back they are awful colorfull shoud attract flat heads look like a bluegill.

yes many time really good bait if you can keep them alive on the hook long enough

Heck yeah they are good bait!!! One of my favorite i would say. They are more lively on the hook than a bluegill.

I have had luck with live pumpkin seeds. Also when they die, there heads are really good bait to.
