I've heard of these and I know when I went to lake butler a few years ago I know they had them but never had any luck with them. Where can you find them at and are they really that good of a bait?

NO YOU NEED A CAST NET FOR THESE BABYS..AS FOR CHIBS I CATCH THEM IN THE DEEPER HOLES. MULLETS KIND LOOK LIKE SUCKERS ON THERE MONTH AREA BUT ARE KIND OF GOLDEN BROWN LOOKING. I'LL SEE IF I CAN GET A PICTURE TO CINCY AND HAVE HIM POST IT .....

I personally have not used mullets that often and never pulled anything in with one so far, some guys I fish with can tear them up with the mullet though. he pulled in a very nice fish this weekend using mullet. I seem to hook them in the wrong area and they die on my first cast.

The smaller the hook the better. Guys at Cedar use crappie hooks. But they miss some fish with them sometimes.
