 I was reeling my planer bobber and a bass took my live shad and it got munched by a big channel cat- wow I wish we could use bass as bait all the time ;D have you guys seen my cool catfish castable planer bobbers -they fish super well from shore too -walk the bank and the planer stays out there and fallows you way out there never coming up to shore- we catch the heck out of them with planer bobbers you can cast them 50 to 75 feet or more - heres the best part -- make one from planers on my site www.bitosense.com there is a page to build it your self its free and easy -- fish on everyone ==the catkiller

i GOT TO SAY THAT THE BEST BAIT IS SOME FRESH CUT SHAD. YOU CANT GO WRONG THERE.

where do you get your molletts at i get my bait at marys in hamilton she doesnt carey them.

I Fish at folz twin lakes and i think the best bait there is live shad. It does not matter where u fish in the lake as long as you have live shad.

I know everyone is saying shad but I haven't caught 1 fish using them this year even with leeches. The best bait I've had luck on this year is gold fish and curled chubs

we always use green sunfish (warmouth bluegill) and chubs/suckers....cant go wrong with those 2 baits

n my opinion skipjack nd shad r the most universal wit catfish because u catch channels blues nd shovels on both baits especially i f u get some skipjack nd tip it wit leeches.. lol.. but my favorite bait 4 shovels is night crawlers nd leeches, big chubs, mollets, bass smallmouth or largemouth, nd any kind of bluegill really from 3-7 inches.. blue bait shad tipped wit leeches,skipjack peroid , warmouth chub heads tipped wit leeches or live, nd also pumpkin seeds, nd also night crawlers nd leeches.. lol a lot but i usually have it all n my tank or freezer or my fridge. lol.. those r the baits i like 2 use tho..
