try sharon wood if you go in the second entrence (not the one by the main park or the golf course) go straight and park by the shelters walk back to the creek behind the shelters find a deep(2-4ft deep) hole and it is filled with chubs. dont know about mullets but talk to the park rangers first and see if your allowed because i havent been to that hole in a while.

sharon woods creek@sharon woods park i got ran off..was fishing for bait fish with my UL spinning rod n reel.the ranger made me turn lose all the little fish i had....he said " NO FISHING IN THE CREEK AT ALL!!!!"
he was really P/O at me for saying it was not posted no fishing and i almost got a ticket... he said the only place you can fish is in the lake.if you do not rent a boat you can only fish from that wood dock.

that sux. BUT the water is teck... the states, so if there is a place out side the park that you can park and then walk up stream there isn't much they can say, as long as you got your fishing lice.... But i still can't see why they counld really say anything, you have a Ohio lice.... then you are leag.... to fish in any Ohio water... As long as its not private land..

Down in Newtown there are a couple of gravel pits. I don't think you can catch chubs and mullets out on ponds/lakes. They live in creeks and where there is a good current.
