Has anyone had any luck with it and if so what kind? My gf got me some dip bait holders for my birthday and i heard the stuff can do pretty well on channel cats. Anyway i will take any suggestions.

i've used it, its alright, catches fish after a while you might want to reel your pole in and check your bait, it will "dissolve" or get off of the bait holder also dont touch it with your hands, it STINKS and so will your hand use a stick or something to force the bait holder in the jar as for the flavor in my experiences it doesnt really matter blood and shad

A good cheap alternative for channels I used for the boys growing up at Pine Hille in Mason. I have never caught any shovels or blues with that I can remember.

Dip bait is my last bait of choice - too many other effective baits that are easier to fish with for channel cats.

For channels Always the tried and true night crawlers or cut shiners but I have also gotten alot on bloods or garlic cheese dips never really tried the shad very often
